Questionnaires and surveys are used for many different purposes and it is important that in order to get the best out of your questionnaire that you make sure the questions are correctly worded. There is such a thing as a good and a bad question and some examples of each (and where you can commonly go wrong in question design) is included on this site.

Data entry is something that will need to be carried out after carrying out a survey for which you may have accumulated paper based results. Data entry clerks do not need any formal qualifications but do need good GCSEs and a good grasp of literacy and numeracy. They commonly work in sales and marketing and banking and finance but may work in many other sectors.

The job of a surveyor is actually a very historical one and they have long since featured in the dividing up of land and boundaries. A surveyor needs to have a good head for algebra, geology, physics and maths as well as knowledge of the laws of building and property.

The sphinx is an ancient symbolic being that we associate most commonly with Egypt but also has Greek and Asian links. In Egypt the sphinx is seen in the Valley of the Kings guarding the famous tombs of the pharaohs. It is the body of a man with the head of a lion, ram or person, though this varies in culture.
